Gino the muncher (Commodore 64)

Gino the Muncher is a simple maze arcade game for the Commodore 64, loosely inspired by early '80s classics. It's written in 6502 assembly, with a BASIC loader handling the title screen.

Guide Gino through a winding maze, eat every last dot, and keep an eye on the ghosts hunting you down. When Gino munches enough dots in a row, he becomes temporarily invincible — ghosts beware!
Well… not really. Gino doesn't hurt anyone. He just runs past them with a smug look on his face.

One moment of distraction and it's game over. Simple rules, pure arcade tension — nothing revolutionary, but hopefully fun.

The game runs on real C64 hardware, relying on the trusty VIC-II for sprite animation and that unmistakable retro look.
No grand ambitions — just 6502 assembly, a lot of patience, and probably too much coffee.

No ghosts were harmed in the making of this game. 👻
